How can counselling help?
Counselling offers a safe, confidential, supportive and non-judgemental environment for you to explore your problems and make decisions in your own time. The aim of counselling is to give you the opportunity to explore your concerns and feelings, discover what might be the underlying causes and to clarify ways of living more effectively and to move towards a greater sense of well-being.
Many find that being able to talk through their problems with someone independent and non-judgmental hugely beneficial and helps give clarity of thought.
Counselling offers you the chance to explore any problems that might be affecting your emotional and physical wellbeing and can support you in helping you to see things clearly, feel more positive and move forward.
As a counsellor governed by the National Counselling Society code of ethics, I adhere to a strict duty of confidentiality. Anything you disclose during a counselling session will remain in strict confidence. Exceptions to this will be discussed and agreed between us at the start of our counselling relationship.
As a professional Counsellor I undertake regular
Supervision which ensures that the needs of my clients are being met and to
provide me, the Counsellor, with support and guidance.
